The Bench
Pull up a seat.
Before Main Street, before the bucket and the windows, there was a bench — and an old man who did not rush a boy who was losing.
The Bench is a 30 day program. Every day you bring the fight you are actually in, and you think it through with Uncle Mitch and Michel. Uncle Mitch for the long view. Michel for the part where you still have to go and do it.
Who you are sitting with
Uncle Mitch takes the long view. He is the one who asks the question underneath your question, and he is in no hurry. When you are about to quit something you should stay in, he is the voice that says stay a little longer.
Michel is closer to where you actually are. He is still learning it, still doing it badly some days, still getting up. When you know the right answer and cannot make yourself do it, he is the more useful one to talk to.
Uncle Mitch and Michel are characters from Stay A Little Longer, voiced by software built on the book. No one is reading this on the other end. You are not being handed a worksheet — you are being asked better questions than you would ask yourself, in two voices you already know.
The book ends at Uncle Mitch’s grave, with one conversation unfinished. This is built from the pages he is in. It is not a claim that he is still here.

What this is not
It is not therapy and it is not a replacement for a doctor, a counselor, or a pastor. If you are in crisis right now, please reach out: 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — call or text 988, or chat 988lifeline.org. Free, 24/7.
It is also not finished. Founding members get in early, at the founding price, and help shape what it becomes.
Founding access
$49 USD/month when it opens.

The real win is not always that the fight is finished. The real win is knowing you can stay. Nobody can take that from you.
